Terms and Conditions for Afribnb

Welcome to Afribnb! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Afribnb platform.
including its websites, mobile applications, and services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”). By
accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not
agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

1. Our Services
   Afribnb provides an online platform that connects Hosts, who have accommodations to offer and
   tourism activities or experiences, with guests seeking to book accommodation or experiences. Afribnb
   acts as a facilitator and does not own, operate, or manage the properties listed on the Platform.
2. Account Registration

• To access certain features of the Platform, you must register an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all
  activities associated with your account.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

1. User Responsibilities

• Hosts: As a Host, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your listing and compliance
  with all applicable laws, including tax regulations and safety standards.
• Guests: As a Guest, you agree to leave the accommodation in the condition it was provided and
  to respect the property and neighborhood.
• You agree not to engage in any behavior that disrupts the community or violates Afribnb
  policies.

1. Fees and Payments

• Afribnb charges service fees for facilitating transactions on the Platform. The applicable fees will
  be displayed at the time of booking.
• Payments are processed securely through Afribnb’s payment system.
• All fees, charges, and refunds are subject to Afribnb’s Payment Policy.

1. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation policies are determined by the Host and specified in each listing.
• Guests are advised to review the cancellation policy before booking.
• Afribnb’s Refund Policy applies in cases of extenuating circumstances or discrepancies with the
  listing.

1. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorised purposes.
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any entity.
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Violate the rights of Afribnb, its users, or third parties.

1. Limitations of Liability
   Afribnb is not responsible for:

• The actions or omissions of Hosts or Guests.
• Injuries, damages, or losses resulting from your use of the Platform.
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

1. Dispute Resolution

• Afribnb encourages Hosts and Guests to resolve disputes amicably.
• If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be managed in accordance with Afribnb’s Dispute
  Resolution Policy.

1. Termination
   Afribnb reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms or engage in
   any behavior detrimental to the Platform.
2. Changes to These Terms
   Afribnb may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on the Platform
   with the “Effective Date” updated. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of the
   revised Terms.
3. Governing Law
   These Terms are governed by the laws of Zambia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be
   resolved in the courts of Zambia.
